Hi,
This just started happening…same techniques and set ups yeilded fine results but NOW..
1st..I’m shooting some small products with a Nikon D200. Basic jpeg all settings on "average" Adobe RGB color space. PSCS2 on 17" Mac Powerbook, Adobe RGB as well.
When I import the images..perfect! but upon saving for web they desaturate..awfully…I’ve tried in Image Ready and same result. All, very minor, color corrections -what I do is make the BG pure white and feather/fade out the edge so the object "floats" on a white BG web page. So we’re talking minor curves tweak on the highlights.
Frustrating..I have to open the image in Fireworks and restaurate and lose a bit of quality…Entire shoot went this way. Beautiful in full jpeg in PS, desaturated about 50% upon save for web..
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Warren
