How should I delete Windows Photoshop CS after upgrading to CS2. Will I delete any common files required by CS2?

If you must, Go to Add/remove programs ing the Control Panel and answer NO to "Remove shared files?"

Personally, I always leave the previous version installed "just in case".

It does no harm to remove CS or to leave it in place.
However you cannot use both CS and CS2 simultaneously.
