Program Error using Clone or Spot Brush on 16-bit files

I am getting the following message when I try to use either a Clone or Spot Brush on a 16-bit NEF or PSD file: ‘Could not complete your request because of a program error’

I have no problems using either of these tools on an 8-bit NEF or PSD file.

I am using a Dimension 8250 (multiprocessor) with 1.5 GB of Ram and using XP Professional. I have installed all of the latest updates including the one for RAW and 9.0.2.

Sounds like you have the older version of the MP plug-in. Download the latest one from Adobe.com and install it. That should do the trick for you.

I re-installed the MP plug-in and it appears to have resolved my issues.
