Hi,
I’m working with Canon CR2 raw files, from a brand new Canon 400D (Rebel XTi) I converted a file (with ACR 3.6) in 16 bit mode, it opens fine in PSCS 2. Then I add a levels adjustment layer.
When I touch de levels interface with the mouse pointer PSCS2 shuts down. If I do convert the file using 8 bit mode, I add the levels layer and edit the file ok. My computer is a P4, 3ghz, Motherboard Intel D865 Pearl, 4 GB ram (with 3gb switch). I’ve tried many "memory usage" settings, on preferences, with no results. The problem seems to be related to the 16 bit image. I can’t find a way to fix this. Best regards
