I’m sure there is a very basic solution to this, but I can’t seem to find the solution in Photoshop CS help, or the few fellow photoshoppers I know.

Is there keyboard shortcuts, to select an image inside the layer, so that I can hold down, ctrl+shift to resize that way, instead of going up to Image>Image size and doing it that? I can do that in InDesign and know there HAS to be a way to do it in Photoshop

Thanks

Sounds like you’re looking for the Transform function (Edit>Transform>Scale function).

Shortcut: Ctrl + T, then right click and choose Scale from the contextual menu.

In CS2 you can also edit/create your own shortcuts (Window>Workspace>Keyboard Shortcuts and Menus).
