This is only a check to see if the newsgroup is updating, as I see no posting in this group since the 5th of December…

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas if this does post… If you can see it, please reply…

Yeah. It still works. Most folks have abandoned this group in favor of the group at adobe.photoshop.elements

Set your server to adobeforums.com

Your post is coming through as it should. This group is not being used by many as most use the Adobe forum,
http://adobeforums.com/
which also can be accessed by their newsgroup.

Thank Ben,

I seldom surf the Internet preferring to stay in the Usenet… Less cookies, spyware, and malware from rogue/phishing websites.

The server is adobeforums.com
The forum/usenet group is adobe.photoshop.elements

You can access the server and the group free. You can read the messages free. In order to post anything you will need to first log into adobe.com and register for the forums. (also free) You can
then use this username and password to log onto the server with your newsreader.

Have an error –

Configuration:
Account: adobefourms.com
Server: adobefourms.com
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0d

Account would be my forum name JR namida? I would leave the space between the r and n?

seems to be a misspelled word. I see fourms instead of forum

I think Catlady found the problem. It’s adobeforums.com not adobefourms.com.

So far as the account, that depends on the newsreader you are using. Mine uses the term: Account Name followed by password. You would use whatever name and password you set up at Adobe.com to access the forums on the web.
