Hi folks, I’m slicing a PS graphic in ImageReady CS2 and have a few quick questions.
– After slicing I have several empty areas (automatic slices) that I’m not sure how to optimize. Is there a way to tell IM to leave these areas empty or use a 1px spacer gif to fill the areas? My background color is a light brown so these blank areas should be filled with that color.
– I want to overlay an small GIF (with transparency) over an area of the graphic. Do I need to create a slice exactly where I want to place the GIF or is there a way to position the GIF without using slices? How do I tell IM to set the PS graphic as background and the GIF image as foreground?
I’m new to IM so any help is appreciated. I use GoLive CS2 as well and plan to import the IM results into GL.
