Do I have to reinstall all my plug-ins if I’m just doing a reinstall because I’ve run into that bug where I can’t double click and open documents?

thanks.

Just do the re-instal to a folder on your desktop.

The missing "Adobe Unit Types" will have been installed so you can then trash the desktop folder and use your earlier installation.

If you trash your old Photoshop, including plug-ins folders, and if you had third-party (non-Adobe) plug-ins, then, yes, you will have to reinstall them. Make sure you have the latest and compatible versions of them.

To add to what Neil said: don’t forget to make copies of all custom Presets (Actions, Brushes, Textures etc.) which you might have installed, before trashing your old installation.
