Corel Knockout vs Photoshop Extract

Good evening.

I would like to know which is the best for cutting out wildlife photographs, lions can have very bushy and whispy manes.

Besides the fact that Extract is "free" in Photoshop CS is there any other advantage.

If you really get into it and learn the program, Knockout will give you much better results than Extract. But as you say, Extract is free and not too bad either.
