We’re getting ready to upgrade to CS3 (unfortunately), and we have the choice of a normal CS3 upgrade or a CS3 "Extended" Upgrade. What’s the difference?

One doesn’t work properly, and the other doesn’t work properly.

hahahahahhaahaha now THAT’S funny. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much what I’ve been hearing about CS3 from day one. The problem lies with our clients who always have to have the "latest & greatest" no matter how badly it’s reviewed. We’re starting to get lots of CS3 files… we can fight our way through, but the error messages we get opening things with older versions make us worried. So sometime soon we’re upgrading.

Ah well, I’ll tell em to go for the cheapest one, at least we’ll save some money on this fiasco.

Thanks for the laugh 😀

The difference is what you can do with it, of course. For detailed specs on what’s different, you should visit Adobes website.

We have CS3 Extendend here up and running and it’s way better in performance than CS2. It opens faster, it reacts faster … we can work faster. 🙂
