If one wishes to size an image to a specific, say 50kb, size, how can it be done easily?

If you want the _image_ size to be 50 Kb or less:

Check the image size dialog box. If you the resample box is checked, you will see the file size near the top. Play with the size until you get 50 Kb or less.

If you want your _file_ size to be 50 Kb or less (for the web say):

Prepare your image at the required size and play with the Save for Web options until you reach a filesize under 50 Kb

Thanks for the reply. I did it. I found the save for web under "File" menu. Many thanks, Renee
