Upgrade from 7 to CS

If I upgrade from PS 7 to CS, should I keep 7 or deletet it from my hard drive.? I don’t have any additional plugins to worry about losing, but don’t want to trash any features that are not available on 7. Thanks- Bob Babe

Bob,

You won’t lose any features in Photoshop 8.

You can keep 7.0.1, it won’t bother Photoshop 8 one bit. You can set 7.0.1 to run in Classic if you want to run any legacy plugins. Otherwise, it’s redundant in OS X, so you can delete it or keep it, as you wish.
