CS will not open some 6.0 files

CS gives an error on some files ‘Could not complete your request because the layer is not a valid text layer.’

But when I use the 6.0 version to open these files, they open without a problem.

I have had the reverse….those made in CS don’t open in v6 even if no newer features of CS have been used. Why?

We haven’t seen any files that CS or CS2 wouldn’t open from older versions.

Could you email me at and work out some way to get a copy of those files?
