first, nice to see your name back on the forum pages lately…missed ya and second; is Irfanview what XP uses anyways and do you need P4 processor to upgrade to XP. I run XP so the last question is for a friend who needs to know ( they asked me and i would like to look like i know the answer before I reply 😉 ) The first question is for me….I never have a problem opening any images using my XP viewer so wondering what the hype about Irfanview was. Thanks 🙂

IrfanView doesn’t come with XP if that’s what you mean.

Just a great all around little proggie. Batching, proofsheets, browser, editor, etc. All in a small package that runs very fast. I keep all my file types set to it for quick viewing.

I’m not using XP yet, although I have had hands on with it quite a bit. I’d still miss Iview.

Hi, Jodi: After my switch a week ago to XP, I quickly restored Irfanview to my default opener for everything but PSD. Neat program!

Been using Irfanview for a couple of years, I think. 🙂 It is a greqt program and when you consider the $0.00 cost it’s even better.
