I have just installed photoshop 7 and the colour of the image is almost black and white. There is a little colour in the image, bright reds show dimly and some blue is apparent but in the main it is monochrome.

The swatches show as almost monochrome. The colour sliders show blue on the red bar, clear on almost colourless on the green and grey on the blue.

Everything in Image Ready is great, colours as you would expect. All colours on the colour bars are perfect, swatches show a full range of colours.

I have obviously done something stupid but would appreciate some help in correcting the problem.

Many Thanks Rod

Yes, I have worked through this with no improvement. The Adobe Image Ready display is perfect so the monitor setting is correct.
