Can someone fill me in on what use all layers does in clone and healing brush. Don’t get that. thanks

Scottie, when you use either of those tools, you first sample an area to be cloned. By default, the sample is taken from your active layer. Enabling Use All Layers takes the sample from…all layers.

as if you had done something like a flatten before sampling….
