How to change tiff images from 16bit per channel to 8bit per channel

Hi together

having so many images in tiff format with 16bit per channel. If I want to save this images as jpg I know I have to change them to 8bit per channel and I also how to do so.
But is it possible to change all images in a folder from 16 to 8bit with sime batchwork ? And if yes, how can I do so ?

Make an action for converting 16 bit image to 8 bit (Image/Mode/8 Bits/Channel) and then use File/Automate/Batch.. for specific folder.
