I am new to Photoshop. I don’t seem to have a "crop tool" within my tool pallette. I can only crop by using the "marquee tool" and then going to the Menu to crop. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software. But, the crop tool still does not load with the others. Pleased advise. Is there a feature which allows you to customize which tools are on your palett? Thank you.

fulllrun, what do you see in the tool palette on the left of your screen below the magic wand and above the text tool? (lower right tool of the top section of that palette)

That’s where the crop tool should be, at least in PE 2.

Brabara,
I have Photoshop Version 5.5 Directly Under the magic wand are the Paintbrush Tool, History Brush Tool, Pencil Tool, Dodge Tool and then comes Text Tool.

I’m familiar with the crop tool icon from other Paintshop editors… Not there. Even passed cursor over each tool to see drop down box of use.
