I am experimenting with PS7, as I am a newbie at the program.
I have scanned an entire photo at 150 dpi and the same whole photo at 300 dpi. When I crop the same image portion from the whole photo, the resolution of the cropped section plummets to 75 dpi, whether I’ve cropped from the 150 dpi photo or the 300 dpi photo.
Is there any way to crop an image and at the same time maintain the resolution in the smaller cropped image that was present in the "host" photo?
Thanks.
Pedro
