PS 7.0
I did a google search .. nuttin…
Some kind assistance in the proper direction would be appreciated. 🙂

Sure I can crop the canvas. But I have 4 photos I want to line up after I have them in separate layers.
So, I would like to be able to CROP one layer(photo) and leave the others as is. I tried Transform/Scale but this changes the size of the photo, and I want the ‘heads’ in the photo to remain the same size and just trim up the outer edges. This is probably something really easy, but I am missing it. Manual was no help.

I hope I have explained it well enough.

TIA
Dan R.

Marquee – select area – Inverse – Delete.

Make sure you have the right layer selected.

Two words: Layer mask.

Use the Marquee tool. Outline the area you want to crop. Click the Layer Mask button in the layers palette, or use Select->Save Selection->Layer Mask.
