I was scanning a batch of images on a Minolta slide scanner, planning to save different versions as jpegs, but acidentally saved them as ‘ICJ" files. Now, I can’t get Photoshop to open them, as they are the ‘wrong type of file.’ Is there ny way I can get the images to open again? (I have tried going back to the scanner software, but it doesn’t seem to work.)
I have an HP Laptop with Windows ME, Photoshop 6.

Thank you.
Sincerely

What are ICJ files?

You’d have to open the images in whatever software created those files, then save them as a normal image file type.

If you just mistyped an extension – change the extension.

Yeah…I checked three online lists of file extensions and there is no mention of an "*.icj" suffix in any of them.
