Although I’m pretty comfortable with the basic stuff that might occur while working in a wet photo darkroom, I’m new to the digital effects.
Specifically, I’m trying to improve a scenic shot with a dark foreground and light sky. I created a layer for the foreground and made adjustments, but the demarcation between the foreground and sky now is harsh and needs smoothing.
What are some of the options for blending the two layers? (Yes, I have several books, all of which are the size of your average metropolitan phone book, but I thought the NG would have some great suggestions as well)
