Only one image at a tme in PS CS3 (Win XP/Pro). Why?

If I have more than one image open in Photoshop CS3 I cannot just go to Window and select one of the other images. I have to minimize the image currently on the screen to choose another image. Has anyone got a solution?

I’d look for some strange add-on because that’s not how it works on my systems. Can you select the cascade option?
