I’ve just run into a problem on my laptop that has never occurred on my desktop computer (both running Windows XP Pro and PS 7.0). When I go to the My Documents folder and try to open a jpeg or tiff file by right-clicking and then selecting "Open With>Adobe Photoshop", Photoshop opens, but the image never appears in the Photoshop window. This is the case even when Photoshop is set as the default for opening that type of file. PSD files, on the other hand, do show up when opened from My Documents. Jpegs and tiffs open fine when opened from the file>open menu within Photoshop or with the Photoshop Browser. Does anyone have a clue as to what is causing this? As I said, I have the same software on my desktop computer and have never run into this problem. Curious…
