how to enlarge text in file browser and metadata info ???

I’ve tried all the Windows XP tricks I know. Is there a way – perhaps and .ini file – to enlarge text info in PS CS so it is readable?

The fly-out icon in the upper-right of the metadata window in file browser contains an increase font size option. Each time you select it, the font gets bigger.
