You may be having a problem with the Windows clipboard. Try saving the file in the Illustrator (ai), pdf, or eps format and then open it in Photoshop. If that works I suspect your problem in in Windows.
You might also try drag and drop. It works between Illustrator and Photoshop, and doesn’t go through the Windows clipboard.

I do not have problems doing so before and the error just happen overnight.
I have read a few forums and tried the remedies suggested such as deleting the preference file… I have even reinstall the whole PS but it seems of no help at all.
I am running on a P3, with 382 RAM.
Pls help. will appreciate alot.
