Hi all

i at one time had a tutorial to map text onto a brick wall.. can someone point me in the directions of a tutorial… it has to look like is painted on..

Besides the Displacement Map idea (along with tutorials’ URL’s) you might want to look into using Layer Blending Mode as an option. Example: Layer 1 = brick wall image, Layer 2 = Text Layer, whose Blending Mode is set to Color, or Lighter/Darker if B/W image. You might want to also explore "distressing" the type with different Layer Effects, or doing a Layer Mask for the Type Layer, and then running some of the Distortion, Sketch, or other Filters on the Layer Mask.
