Hope this makes sense…

I want to print larger images that my letter size DeskJet will print so I am looking for software that will split up one image over several pages that you can them print and seam together. Like a puzzle with square pieces……

I have genealogy software that does this with its graphics. Maybe PS can do this?

I want to mess around with some ideas I have on the cheap.

There is an option to print part of an image. You just select the area to be printed with the rectangular marquee tool and go to File>Print with Preview. Select Print Selected Area and click Print. You can divide the image up into sections using the guides and the marquee tool will snap to the guides. It would probably be good to create some overlap when setting the guides so that you can manipulate the finished prints to match and then cut through both prints with a paper cutter or a sharp knife and straight edge.

If you have any page layout software like Quark or InDesign or if you have Freehand or Illustrator you can choose Tiling options and it will be done automatically for you.

I will try both ideas thank you. TILING was the word I could not come up with in what I wanted.
