Color confuguration question.

Ok I just got photoshop and I was about ready to use it. Then I noticed that all of the colors I could use were only shades of purples. Can someone tell me how to re-configure this?

It all begins with an accurate monitor profile. Spend 15 minutes at Ian Lyons’ site <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_1.htm> and you should be up and running in no time well, 15 minutes…
