Hi

I know that when you resample an image you can choose the resampling method (i.e. bilinear, smoother or sharper) but is it possible to choose one of these options when using the crop tool to resample?

Thanks for any advice

Phil

Yes. It uses whatever you have chosen in the Preferences command.

It’s that way because many functions–cropping, rotating, and so on–resample all or part of the image, and the Preferences is a general way to change the global resampling technique. It’s quite rare that people need to change the resampling technique on an image often.
