Ralph,

The .mix format isn’t supported by many applications that I’m aware of. You’ll likely need to open it in Picture It! or PhotoDraw, then save the file to a more universal format such as TIFF. If you don’t have access to either of those applications, I think Picture Publisher may be another alternative, but I’m not sure.
