Hi all!
I’ve found two newsgroups that appealed to me as being useful to help me extend my knowledge of Photoshop. This one, and one called alt.graphics.photoshop. Well, for now I believe this one will succesfully end my search for a good photoshop newsgroup, as it’s seems you guys are frequently posting, but it’s not going too fast. And I see all neat PS related questions , without arguments being fought off topic and many full names. Do you guys have any rules that are to be followed?
Oh. and let’s just shoot my PS. question:
Ever since I installed Photoshop CS and Adobe Gamma I have a distinct difference in gamma between the jpeg’s opened in photoshop and ones viewed through the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and I believe Internet Explorer. Obviously this bothers me, as I am unable to create the right contrast for web-work.
I can’t verify if the printing output is correct, but for now I’m assuming the web-work contrast has the problem.
How can I solve this differing contrast?
Thanks in advance,
regards
