I find the opening window with all the bars, tools etc very difficult to use because they have low contrast. That is, rather than a stark black and white, they show up as gray over a different shade of gray. Is there any way, say by setting preferences, to increase the contrast for eyes that need more contrast?
Although I do no process much in the way of pictures, I find Elements very useful. Of several applications I have tried, it provides the best way of scanning documents I must read and handle forms I must fill out. I use it with PowerPoint to make presentations in inverse video and still retain pictures in their regular colors.
