Problem with font, need help

I am having a problem with cs. When I type on a layer in a particular font I get the first letter but it doesnt proceed to the next letter. I see only the first letter. If I change what is written to another font what I wrote suddenly appears. I have reinstalled the font. Anyone know what gives.

either we need more details or you need to reset your character palette. try that first and let us know if that works.
