I have quite a few postscript fonts installed on my Windows XP Professional 64-bit computer, but none of my adobe programs are showing them as available. I tried using my old Type manager deluxe, but it won’t let me install it on a 64-bit system. I used the windows font installer to install the fonts. How do I get my creative suite to recognize the fonts?

Seems to be a known issue with 64 bit systems. I’ve seen it myself with some fonts. You can place them in a private Adobe fonts folder and try that but I’ve just taken to using the TrueType versions since my Type 1 fonts all came with TrueType also.

OpenType is the way to go for any new fonts, though.

Try searching for and deleting all instances of adobefnt*.lst.

Do not delete the .db files.
