Photoshop works fine at the office, not at home…?

Another employee at my office said that Photoshop CS1 opens fine on her 2.1 GHz ThinkPad T60p laptop with 1GB RAM when she is at work and connected to our company network. She said when she takes the computer home and tries to work on files while disconnected from the network, Photoshop sometimes will not open at all (she gets the splash screen, but then it hangs and Windows says the program is not responding).

We just replicated the test as best we could at work (unplugged it from the network), and Photoshop opened fine…

Any ideas what might be causing this?

default printer set to a network might do it, or having files opened from network shares in her recent files list… just guessing here since you got not other responses yet…
