Possible reasons would be

– better Photomerge
– Scene Cleaner
– Faces and Group Shot
– Quick Selection Tool
– Smart Brush
– Whiten Teeth and Blue Skies Tool

For what it’s worth, at Amazon, after eight reviews, it only has 2 out of 5 stars. So far, the reviews have not been inspiring me that I gotta have it, and I’m still on version 4 at the moment.

Frankly I don’t think so. The V: 7 is more convoluted than previous version.
They, competing with each other, I mean in graphics design and introducing more features and this becomes harder to navigate and use the necessary features.
V: 5 has all the necessary tools and features to do advanced editing. Of course this is my personal opinion. Paint Shop Pro X2 is very good but also
little more complicated. Talk to more people or look for reviews of photo editors.
