On "images/adjustments" in Photoshop (full version) there are a couple of things I must have (I have trial version).
1) Auto Levels
2) Curves

Does PS Elements have these functions??????

Auto Levels, yes. PSE 2.0.
Dunno about curves – the help file talks about vector graphics. You might post to this group via Adobe’s web forums; it’s an extremely active group but no longer feeds to Usenet.
