I am trying to create a two-color gradient in Photoshop 7. What I need is a 2 color gradient, but the color of each individual pixel can only be one of the 2 colors. Imagine a gradient that consists of 100% color "A" pixels at one end, 100% color "B" pixels at the other end, and a gradual transition between color A and B. The gradient must be achieved by changing the percentage of pixels of each color from 100% A to 100% B, but there is NO mixing of the two colors at any one pixel. Can this be done? I need to import this image as jpeg, bmp or tiff into another application which will run a filter on the image. I can only have pure black pixels and pure white pixels, nothing else – but I do need to transition between the two colors.
