How do I access the transparency of a TIF file? When I open a tif file from another application it comes in with a transparency. I have some problems when I try to manipulate the file or change itΒs format to say PNG. It comes into PS as transparent. It does not show an alpha channel, or a path. It does not have a layer mask. Is there a way to access what I would call the alpha channel. I know it as a RGBA file (Red, Green, Blue, Alpha)
This problem has come up many times and I have always found a way to do what I needed. I want to find a better way to just open the alpha chanel.
Thanks for your suggestions.
