Please help this is driving me mad !!!

I am new to photo editing and I have purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0.

Upon opening the program I get a launcher asking what I want to do – this is fine.

Lets say I click on view and organise pictures this brings up the "organiser" again this is all fine, I then find a picture on my HDD or cam again this is all good.

The problem occurs when I try to edit the picture !

once the picture is open if I go to "edit" and and "go to standard edit" it loads the editors workspace but every time it exports the picture to the workspace it is green !!!

I have tried everything even re installing the program but nothing seems to work the colour palette shows just green and brown !!

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Please help very desperate

Try calibrating your monitor. Using Adobe Gamma (which came with Elements) is a reasonable first step.
