Hi,

how can I change the background color of te dialogs in CS3? They are all bright gray instead of the window system color I expect. Or at least how can I darken them? (my window colors are gray)

Thomas, are you using windows? If so, maybe you will need to change the color by right clicking on the desktop, choosing properties, clicking on the Appearance tab, then advanced, then, in the pull down menu, choose the 3d choice and on the right side, choose a color. I haven’t tried this out recently but, it seems that I did manage to change the window color this way.

Hi Wesley,

yes I’m using Windows. But this what you descripe do not work. Because PS uses _its own_ color for the dialogs (like "info", "layer" …)

When PS loads you can see that the main menu bar ("file", "edit"…) changes the color from the normal window-3D-element-color (a dark gray on my computer) to the light gray of photoshop.
