Palette location in PSCS3

My apologies if this has been asked before. Is it possible to put the palettes into a well across the top as they were in PS7 to PSCS2?

I don’t really want a palette dock down the right side of my screen taking up space. This new arrangement seems far worse than previous and i would rather have a name for each palette as opposed to an icon.

Thanks John, I feared that might be the case. Why they mess with a good system I will never know.

I am inclined to revert back to CS2 I think,

You’ll learn to live with it — then you’ll grow to love it!

The side docking is actually a more efficient way of using monitor space. For a really slick workflow, have you ever considered dual monitors?
