Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to save "selections" of parts of image and combine them for later use. e.g. in a picture, I want to select just the feet. After I select one foot, if I try to select the second one (by say – using the magnetic lasso), the first one goes away. I saw something like – save a selection but how does one really save multiple selections and later on "load" all of them up so all the selections you made are "selected" 🙂

thanks

You can save a selection as a new document or save it as a channel in your current document which I think makes more sense. You can add to a selection by holding down Shift. This is covered in the manual and Help.

Why don’t you use the "Selection/Save selection" menu ? Then you can reload them by the same menu (or by the "traces" panel, can’t remember). —
