I having problems with character spacing in Photoshop CS2. If I for example type ‘Head topic’ in a Arial and without anti aliasing method then I have so mutch spacing between the ‘o’and the ‘p’ of the word ‘topic’ that it looks that there is a spacing between it. If I turn on the anti aliasing then it looks normal.

Is the font corrupt? Or is it some sort of setting I have to turn on?

My guess is that without anti aliasing, characters have to (or default to) line up on a pixel. If this is a low resolution image (72ppi) then this could cause the problem.
