I have an eps file of a logo on a transparent background, the logo is black, and I want to change it to PANTONE 877c and still have the transparent background… i have read some posts that suggest to do the following:
* add new layer
* fill with desired color
* Lighten, screen, linear dodge from drop down menu under the layers tab on the toolbar that has layers, channels, paths
When I do this, it makes the whole canvas silver and then when I use blending tools as instructed, you can see the logo again and it appears a very light silver with the backgroung as the darker PANTONE 877. I am an incredibly frustrated beginner…somebody please help me !!!!!!!!
