I’m on a new imac -intel core2 duo 4G ram -OS system 10.5.2 – photoshop cs2 9.02 hangs at the initializing window. I’ve deleted prefs, run disk utility, reinstalled psd, searched the forums and FAQ (and can’t find a solution) and it still hangs at start-up so it can’t rebuild the prefs. indesign also hangs. image ready works. illustrator works. indesign and psd cs2 worked fine for the last month after moving to the imac. my cs versions still work. I upgraded from a g5 that had hardware problems. I’m at the end. any suggestions?

pps. now illustrator won’t open. it hangs at initializing-font menu 80%. could a font issue compromise all of CS2?

first CS2 does not run Native on an Intel Mac and is not supported in 10.5

second you are 2 updates behind on your OS you should update.

yes fonts can be a problem. Font Doctor sucks.

Font Agent Pro is the best font Manager.
