Merging CMYK channels + spot colors

Is there any way to merge, say, 7 channels – CMYK plus 3 Pantone spot colors? I know what colors the spots are – it sure would be nice to do this. Any pointers are appreciated. TIA.

Click on the spot channel’s icon in the channels palette and from the (top right black triangle) menu chose "merge spot".
