Photoshop Not Loading!!!

When I start Photoshop 7 (upgrade version) it begins to load and right when all of the start up info (the info that quickly appears as Photoshop is preparing itself for use) finishes the program automatically closes. I have been using this upgrade version for about a year. The original Photoshop 5.5 I have runs fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the original and upgrade versions and still have the problem. If anyone can assist I would appreciate it. Thanks!

you know when ps 7 is starting up do you know why it says "System or Hardware error" when it gets up to the "reading fonts" part if you might know e-mail me on thanxs

Sorry, no e-mail – that’s not the way these forums work….

In all probability you have a corrupt font on your system which you will need to locate and delete

I am having the same problem with PS7 loading, it is closing me out. When checking for the .psp file – the file is not there? I have version 4.0,upgrade to 6.0, it has a .psp file. My upgrade to 7.0 is not showing a .psp file. Can anyone help???
