Inserting multiple tifs into one file

What would be the EASIEST way to insert 40 different tif files into a single file. Once the files are inserted, they have to be moved around.

Bill, i would create an action… create a file. save it as "Target" leave it open. open a file that you want to move into "target". start recording. crtl-a, crtl-c, switch to "Target" (the name should be recorded in the action). crtl-v. stop recording.

batch that. put all your source images into one folder, use that folder as the input for the batch. make sure to open "target" before you start the batch.
